Loved Petey and his time here, but we are much better with the replacements we have signed this summer. Love Petey and will continue to root for him, and wish him the best.

I just wish he didn't suffer that concussion. He was playing solid basketball before that. Good Luck Peaches!

two issues with MP i saw last year.

1. After his nasty concussion he rarely ever played under the basket. No tip in, no rebounds, nothing

2. I saw kg several times try to get MP interested in huddles . One time he grabbed his jersey to come into one. Lack of team spirit or not caring what the coach had to say??

thanks mp , and good luck

They can't offer him any money either.

Huh? I'd say his major issues were injury related and the fact that he never attacked the basket before or after the injury and was a very mediocre 3 point volume shooter.

You are thinking of one specific time that everyone knows you are talking about when KG was bringing him into the huddle. That was one of his first games back where he played big minutes. Had nothing to do with him not caring or anything. If you watch it he looks like he is dazed, dehydrated and about to pass out. I remember watching it with my buddies and being genuinely worried about him passing out

Pietrus or Christmas. With Joseph we have another G/F; but will miss his defense. He was last years James Posey; but think Christmas can be more of a spark plug and has better lateral movement and quickness.

Suppose we wanted to bring him back & he wanted to come back. What are our options now with Dooling signed?

Our limit is $74.3 M. With Dooling, we are about 71.5M (anyone is welcome to correct these numbers).

If we use BAE that's almost $2M but would rather hold this for a mid-season signing.

Minimum is $1.23M but wants more.

Could we do a S&T for a 3-year deal but only year 1 guaranteed?

Just wondering about the options. I'm sure someone knows all the options.  :D

I figured he would want to go play with Parker and Diaw in SA.

I want Delfino with the BAE.  I f not him, just sign Christmas or keep the 15th spot open.

I'm not giving up on my dream of having Peaches back in Celtic green until I hear that he's signed elsewhere or our roster gets to 15.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I love to have Pietrus back. But we don't have any more money to pay him right? And the replacements we acquired are as good, if not better.

WIsh him luck wherever he lands.

SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal

By my count, we still have the BAE and one roster spot left.

Danny, bring back Peaches!!

I'd love to see him back, but he deserves more playing time than the zero minutes he'd get behind Terry, Bradley, Lee, Pierce and Green.  It would be hard to watch him become a bench warmer, and I think it'd be hard for him as well.

And Pietrus knows that too.  He doesn't want to be in that position.

He'll sign in Europe for a bigger payday or take the minimum somewhere else where he'll actually get minutes.
