NBA will release 2012-13 schedule later this week. Defending champion Heat open at home vs. Celtics (Oct. 30), Sun Sentinel reports.

Thanks, Stern. You're a real tool.

I wonder if/who we'll be playing on Christmas?

my question also...and why can't we ever play at home on Christmas...

my guess is either at NY or at LAL

My predictions for x-mas games:

BOS @ NYK
MIA @ OKC

someone will play @ Lakers, dunno who, my guesses are clippers, mavs, or spurs

The bad thing here is that AB won't be available.

But I'm sure he'll get reacquainted with Wade later on in the season.

Can't hide forever, Wade.

Since Bradley is due back in December to the best of my knowledge,  I think we'll have him for most of the games against them but I would not be surprised to see the league try to squeeze in another game against the Heat by early December to try to beat Bradley's return.

what would make it really sweet is to beat the Heat without Bradley on opening day.

I wish we could have had at least a week or two to get some chemistry down

Dirk started that mess, then Kobe picked it up and now Wade.

I hope the officials rule on that next season.

Why in the world wouldn't we want to play the Heat on national TV on opening night?  We've earned that right.

Where you hoping that the league would schedule us to play all 82 games against the Bobcats, the Wizards, and the Raptor?

If you watch the replay as he is on his way down sliding on the floor he's just glaring at the ref. Kind of emvarrasing that on such a complete and obvious clean block that he can't just can't take the hit to his ego

Interesting.  I expected them to save that for Christmas.  I wonder if they will have that same game for opening night and Christmas, or if they will do something else for Christmas?  Maybe Lakers/Heat?
