Some recovering Bradley bashers are never truly recovered.

Bradley's mere presence on the team is a constant reminder of how poorly some people analyzed his talents and potential.

It's the basis of every "trade Bradley" post I've seen since February.

If the pick is top 3 and within the next 3 years, yes I would trade AB in a heart beat. Shabazz Muhammad, Nerlens Noel, Jabari Parker, Julis Randle (maybe), Andrew Wiggins and Jahlil Okafor (maybe) are most likely barring a major setback, going to be NBA all-stars. With a few (Wiggins, Noel, Parker) being franchise cornerstones.

AB is not going to land an unprotected pick from a bottom 3 team. But IF the opprotunity presents its self, you got to trade Bradley. I can not believe one person on this board wouldnt trade Bradley in this situation.

Call it Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome from the trauma inflicted on Celtic Nation from the mid 90s until 2007 when the lottery was all we had to look forward to each season.

Who is going to give up a lottery pick for Avery Bradley?  I mean seriously.

I'm sure if he played for LA some team would.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

No interest in trading Bradley for anything other than a proven star
Ex. Josh Smith, Iguodala, Gay
Can't stop, Rondo!

I like Bradley myself, but his play is taken away by his injuries. He is really slowing his development, offensive at least. Bradley breaking down in the playoffs should be a huge reason to question his future here. He just may fit in well back home playing for Portland. Still, you'd have to do it for his level of defensive ability...not J.R. Giddens.

Its something to look at after this season, but we need to see how he responds to his surgery and if he can replicate his stellar play of late last year.

of course, if he doesn't respond well/can't replicate his stellar play, then no one will give up a lottery pick for him....

in any case, it is clear that Danny is trying to win now, and trading a starter for a draft pick is not going to help that.
Celtics fan for life.

He is only a potential starter.  Given he is hurt and going to miss the beginning of the  year, I think there is a very good chance Lee or Terry establishes himself as the starter and Bradley doesn't start a game this year.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

An unproven talent based upon his body of work to date and you want an All-Star level talent back for him?  No one knows how good AB is going to be unless he's their binkie, in which case he's a HOFer.  I also don't see the wisdom behind trading him for a lottery pick in a draft that's expected to be poor either OTOH.  He's certainly an elite defender.  Whether he has enough offense to start in the long rum who knows (and don't throw any cherry-picked stats at me), but he's certainly capable of being a rotation player at worse.  In case, Danny hedged his bet royally on Bradley by adding Terry and Lee at the same position.
