Sources: Celtics set to ink veteran big man Jason Collins to a one-year, veteran minimum deal. Adds 7-footer to bench.

Big meh, OK to start the season with if no other options are around. Potential waiver candidate if a better option arises later on.

I'm guessing the Celtics are going to sign 1-2 big men to vet minimum deals invite them to camp and see who wins the job.

We'll see. Wouldn't be surprised if we go with about 16-17 players.

Excellent news. A physically strong post defender who can give the team some minutes against bigger front-lines. Did a very nice job on Dwight Howard in the past.

Not as strong a rebounder as a Magloire or Dampier but has better feet ... more mobility defensively. So lose some rebounding to gain some more defensive range.
