Who cares what he brought before the playoffs? He brought absolutely nothing during a great playoff run, he will not be missed.
Wilcox and Green brought absolutely nothing during the playoffs so if they walked they wouldn't be missed right? Who cares what they brought before.
Horrendous counterargument. They couldn't play at all because of heart conditions. You and I both know that they would have contributed if they were on the team, unlike the departing cadaver in shoes.
You know that Stiemsma had to say no to the US Select Team because of his injury?
Stiemsma would have made a good practice player for Team USA to dunk on. He is about as good as most of the stiffs they will play against. He is old for a rookie, the celtics pulled him out of the NBDL junk heap because they were desperate for a cheap big man.
Here is a quote from his end-of-year report card:
"He's got a sneaky little offensive game and actually shot 72.7 percent on jumpers inside of 17 feet (and 51.2 percent on all catch-and-shoot situations overall, according to Synergy Sports data). He struggled in the post, but was solid as a cutter (or roll man) going at the hoop for easy dunks. Defensively, Stiemsma made incredible strides. By the end of the season, he ranked in the 93rd percentile among all NBA defenders, allowing a mere 0.711 points per play (that's downright, KG-like), according to Synergy. Opponents shot just 34.7 percent against him and he tightened up his early season pick-and-roll woes."

You can see that here:
