Steve Nash turned a former backup foreign center into a near All Star, who says Rondo can't make Haddadi a better player.

The guy seems to have good hands and wants to play around the basket.  That's the one thing the C's don't have.  He was good in the Olympics/World Championships a few years ago, I think he would be a solid pickup if the C's could get him.

I like the idea.  It would also be nice for Rondo to have this guy around for a little payback.

Everybody who doesn't like Rondo. Rondo can't do ANYTHING according to them.

Mike Conley Jr is a pretty good pg, we'd know if Haddadi was anything more than a bruiser by now.

Im bias and I want him.

What was Stiemsmas foul rate? I bet it was high.

Haddadi is still very young and IMO has improved quite steadily over the past few years.

Remember he was coming from pro basketball in Iran he is still developing.

I also like that he is pretty effective in short min. He'll grab some boards couple put backs and a block in 10the min. Yes and foul.

If you watch him play he is gigantic. You can just throw the ball up tobthe rim and he has soft hands and  no one can reach him

I've seen Mike Conley Jr. and sir, he is no Rajon Rondo.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I like him.

Developing big man who can be perfect as the 3rd or 4th string big man.

Should be a good pick up.

Doesn't have to be, just has to be good enough to get something out f Haddadi if there was anything to get.

To those of you saying 'no', get over yourselves.

He's a 7'2 man-beast with a thick foreign accent who can play 10 minutes of ball a game. You don't argue about 'projects', you sign those guys and get started on the semi-ironic inside jokes, pronto.
I ain't signing anyone who can play 10 minutes of a ball game! 5 is my limit, I'll go no higher!

Would you settle for 5.9 minutes, if he promised you 2 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 foul in those minutes?

This is just me thinking outloud here, but 5 pts, 5 boards, and 2.5 fouls in 15 minutes...its not that bad, right?

I'm not sure that you can extrapolate scrub / garbage time minutes into rotation minutes.

It seemed to work for Phoenix with Marcin Gortat.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

Gortat was their first or second big off the bench, Haddadi was Memphis'  3rd at best.

he was unstoppable in FIBA-Asia, fouls a lot true, but can score on the block, fouls hard and rebound pretty well
