To those of you saying 'no', get over yourselves.

He's a 7'2 man-beast with a thick foreign accent who can play 10 minutes of ball a game. You don't argue about 'projects', you sign those guys and get started on the semi-ironic inside jokes, pronto.
I ain't signing anyone who can play 10 minutes of a ball game! 5 is my limit, I'll go no higher!

Would you settle for 5.9 minutes, if he promised you 2 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 foul in those minutes?

Also, I refuse to sign a center who's going to play "outside of the box" :P

This is just me thinking outloud here, but 5 pts, 5 boards, and 2.5 fouls in 15 minutes...its not that bad, right?

Tempting.... but ne foul is just not enough. He's not going to foul out of any games, and what enforcer is worth his salth without fouling out?

I'm not sure that you can extrapolate scrub / garbage time minutes into rotation minutes.

That had to be the worst highlight film of a player I've ever seen.  And I don't mean just for the music.

lol...but you have to admit, though - the guy uses that size well.

I remember that game, because Marc had gotten himself hurt a bit and was in foul trouble.

Hamed went in there and was rather effective.

Anyone that can hold his own, even in just stretches, vs the best frontline in the NBA deserves a second look, IMO.

Just for this, I'll take him.  What more do you want from a third string C?

I'm sold.  I haven't seen a moving screen that effective since Perk.  I'll chip in $20 towards a vet-minimum contract; who's with me?

It might be worth it purely for the potential of a season's worth of fun headlines like "who's your Haddadi?!" after he has a big game.

I have seen haddadi play a couple of times in FIBA-Asia... A beast he is!! hands down the best and baddest big man Asia has to offer.. I believe he is better than steamer... good postup, nice perimeter touch and even takes and makes the 3...hard fouls? yes he can dish them out!! just got stuck at the end of the memphis bench behind gasol and even thabeet... give him the playing time, he will perform!

so i say yes...
