Let's say -

BAE Center - whoever that is
Sully - if he can show he can play
Green
Lee or Bradley
Jet

You mix and match Rondo or KG or Pierce in there however you want...

But that second unit and it's apparent aiblity, on paper, to put impose offensive pressure on the game, coudl make a "dramatic" difference in how dominant this team can be.

Once Bradley returns, we will basically have our starting unit back that was playing some of the best basketball in the NBA in the second half of the season and some historic defense as well.

But we struggled finding points when they sat down. Now you bring in some offensive fire power like this.

"If" it all works out like it looks on paper and we stay healthy - we could see some very, very good basketball this season.

Whoever the "BAE center" is, he has little chance of being before Wilcox in the rotation.

Wilcox might start for us, though I think Doc will stick with Bass in the starting lineup.

Unless Danny is able to get a very impressive backup center for KG, I can't imagine this happens since it'd leave only Melo to backup KG.

Doc showed little interest in Wilcox as a starter last year.

Not optimistic he'll suddenly change his tune this time round. Pretty much a lock he'll be on the bench.

if greg signs and starts with kg (my thoughts)

our second unit is :
pf bass
c wilcox
sf green
sg lee
pg terry

that team would beat a fair amount of nba teams, maybe not playoff teams but that is a good squad

I think this team has the ability to keep throwing punch's, beat teams with a constant onslaught of jabs and body shots. While being able to keep KG and PP on the bench for good periods of time so they can land the final blow at the end if needed.

I can see Doc giving Peirce KG type of minutes to keep them fresh for the playoffs. You would have Green and either Bass/Wilcox coming in at the 7-6 minute mark.

You'd be able to ride the young legs from the middle of the 1st to the middle of the 2nd, and again from the middle of the 3rd to the middle of the 4th, and then having your best finishing team actually fresh to close games out, when the other teams finishers may have been playing extra minutes in the game.

The possibilities are pretty endless, especially since KG's 5-5-5 plan has him out there with the reserves as often as he plays with the starters.
I think in particular the lineup of Jet-Lee-Green-Sully-KG will end up being huge for us.  There's tons of offensive firepower on the court right there, and they'll be out there playing against bench players most of the time.

I really hope he does this, I think  keeping KG and PP fresh for the playoffs should be a serious priority during the regular season, even if it costs us some games.

i think Lee might end up moving up the depth chart over Bradley.  Not sure Bradley is THAT much better of a defender considering his size... and Lee is likely a better shooter.

On that Second Unit what about Greg Odom? He won't be ready until the second half of the year but he could be as valuable a pick up as Paul Silas or Bailey Howell. For you ole timers! Great potential and at a cheap price (Vet Minimum) He could be as great a pick up as P.J. Brown in the Playoff Run? He will be picked up by someone! That talent should be a Celtic!

Wouldnt be surprised if Lee or Terry started for the first half the year considering AB wont be ready by training camp. Really feel for this kid, 3 years and he hasnt even had a single decent training camp or pre season. Hopefully next year he is all good
