What about Atlanta? Indiana? Detroit?

So, are the Wizards close to surpassing IP for Eastern Conference dominance?

Nope. But they've really catapulted their team up the charts.

The thing I wonder is has Boston fallen out of the top 5 in the East? I can't think a team with Durant and Griffin could, but I wonder how much they've really got beyond those two.

Wait really you think after all these moves we made we have gotten way better? Would we be a top 3 team in the east? Are we the best in the southeast division?

I don't know.

Front court:

Quote
Bosh / Haywood / Splitter / Young / Vucevic

vs.

Gasol / Gortat / Hawes / Blair / Novak / Beasley / Wallace

This is a big win for Washington, not only in talent but in the way the game is played.  Bosh is going to have to guard Gasol, who is going to abuse him.  Washington has the clear advantage in talent, depth, and versatility, and the ability to create high-efficiency baskets is going to punish the Bulls.

Swingmen:

Quote
Wade / Pierce / Young / Parsons / Lamb / Butler

vs.

Wallace / Williams / Smith / Beasley / Novak

Talent wise, the gap here isn't as wide as the on-court results probably will.  While Pierce has lost a step, he's better than Wallace, and Washington has nobody who can come close to stopping Wade.

PGs:

Quote
Holiday / Jack

vs.

Curry / Jameer

Pretty even.  I'd give an edge to the Wizards, but Curry's health is up in the air.

Overall, I guess I'd give the edge to the Bulls, if only because the Wizards' wings are so bad.  However, they're a smart trade away from being the favorites.

I'M THE SILVERBACK GORILLA IN THIS MOTHER... AND DON'T NONE OF YA'LL EVER FORGET IT!

KP / Giannis / Turkuglu / Jrue / Curry
Sabonis / Brand / A. Thompson / Oladipo / Brunson
Jordan / Bowen

Well they've made plenty of smart trades, that's for sure. While you and me point fingers at each other calling the other one shyster, ronaldo here has pulled off 3 or 4 incredibly lop-sided trades under everyone's nose.

I mean,
Quote
57)  Rockets send Wilson Chandler and Stephen Curry
Wizards send JJ Reddick and Tyreke Evans

Its not like shouldn't have seen it coming.

What about Billups? Either way thanks for putting us in the top 3 :)

The Bulls drop: Darko Milicic
The Bulls sign: Alexey Shved

Great pickup, Shved is a beast, i really didnt want to release him but i had to, you guys got a great player

Thanks!

I was sold after reading this:

Alexey Shved (Russia)

The 6-6 guard has been the most exciting non-American player in the tournament, dazzling with deft ball handling and creative passes. He leads the Olympics in assists and his mastery of the pick-and-roll is outstanding for a 23-year-old player. Not only does he have all the skills to be effective -- a pull-up jumpshot, slick handle, great vision -- he really knows how to use a screen. He’s patient and will gladly smash his defender into a screen a couple times before he gets the angle he wants. The downside is that he’s almost equally bad at defending pick-and-rolls. Shved will play next season in Minnesota, where he is sure to become a fan favorite even as his turnover totals mount.

Thats why we got him and well also cause he is a 3 point specialist we were really excited to get him with the 13.10 but since we had 15 players we released him if we would of had 12 players we would have gotten him

Wait I'm not sure but wasn't Shved got drafted?

You're not sure he wasn't drafted? Eh?

(Kidding, grammar jokes!)

Shved was drafted and waived.

Shved was a nice pickup.

Disappointed Nando de Colo didn't get drafted. I've been hearing a lot of good things about him.
