Trade:

To Brooklyn: Derek Rose
To Washington: Kevin Martin, 6.22 and 12.6

Ha. I was just about to post that the draft board was up to date...

Also, Rondo2887, I want to know why you hate me? You've actually traded 6.18 away, traded for 6.18, traded the pick away again.

Ouch, poor Jeremy Lin ... that's gotta be a big blow. He just lost all his future PT.

As for Washington, I thought Kevin Martin and Tyreke Evans struggled to play together the first time around. Martin is not the type of wing player I would put alongside Tyreke at this stage of his development.
I think that Lin and Rose could give me minutes together. they are both pretty big for pg's and could guard two's. Lin could spot up and hit shots off passes.

True enough. But I don't love it though, since both are so ball dominate. Odd trade. Trade creates similar problems for the Wizards' backcourt. I don't like an Evans and Martin pairing either (or god forbid Evans, Redick, Martin...) . Pau is going to get even fewer shots than he does in L.A.

I would strongly consider sliding Pau Gasol over to center and moving DeAndre Jordan to the backup center slot. Bring in a power forward who can hit jump-shots.

Space out that floor for Tyreke Evans. Give him as much room as possible to penetrate that defense. Let him and Pau create shots for everyone else.

The Lin, Rose question won't be a problem anymore.

Okay, because I drafted clear BPA Klay Thompson (I can't even believe he and Ben Gordon were picked in the same round)

I'll take Gordon, thank you.  The guy comes up big in big moments, and makes a perfect sixth man.  Thompson puts up similar numbers on a lottery team.

Oops. I'm just catching up. (Vacation + Draft Board Duty). Hobbs, I know we're enemies, but trying to compare Ben Gordon, the worst pick of the 4th round, to Klay Thompson? That's low.

I especially enjoy how you get a "lottery team" barb in there. As if you've got Ben Gordon circa 2008 and the past three seasons didn't happen. Gordon's winning production since joining the Pistons? .356. Big moments? The guy has a seat to the left of Will Bynum, that he wouldn't ever let Vernon Macklin sit in.

I love evrything about the Warriors except for David Lee. It'd be a fun team to be a fan of right now.

Curry
Thompson
Barnes
Lee
Bogut

Outside shot at the playoffs this year of Barnes is a little more ready than ppl thought he was and Bogut/Curry stay healthy, only gonna get better.

I don't expect Barnes to continue much his rookie year. Empty numbers (ppg) type of guy.

Maybe it's because I remember Lee fondly from his days here in New York, but I'm a fan of the guy. I don't blame him for his contract or how Golden State has misused him. Otherwise I agree. Although pairing Bogut and Curry will make for a nerve wracking season.

It's true that I nodded when I heard him glibly described as a tweener Monta Ellis. But he banged on everybody in summer league. That's a start.
