to Celtics for 2.23, 3.23, 4.2, 6.2, 8.2, 10.2, 12.2

Trade rejected.

Why what? Clean what up?

you don't have 4.10, 6.10, etc....

you have 4.15, 6.15, etc...

And BOS Washington traded 2.10 to ORL, but you didn't send it out in the trade reported above.

*THIS* is why

(a) GMs need to make sure they send in their trades correctly and

(b) trades aren't final until the Commish announces them. And why you therefore can't make a selection (like you tried to do twice during the draft with 1.14 and 1.15) without officially having the pick.

There's just too much a potential (and it's happened before in Celticsblog draft with earlier picks than yours) for a major mess up.

That was just a  typo from the commish above. It was already recognized and this will all be straightened out shortly.

OK, but as far as I can tell WAS and ORL didn't make any deals directly....

Washington and Orlando made this deal:

Celtics Send: 2.10 2.23
Magic Send: Pau Gasol and 3.11

The "Celtics" part was a typo.  The Wizards own both of those picks, and moved them to Orlando.

Why is it rejected?

1)  I got the wrong team

2) It include a pick that was a part of another rejected trade.

Pending  WAS and BOS clean up their trade you (correctly rejected) b/c that's how WAS got the 2.23 they trade to ORL above....


(Sorry to be so picky but if for soem reason Kane thinks he's getting the 6.10, 8.10... picks and is really getting the 6.15, 8.15,.... picks and want's to back out, the WASH/ORL deal would also have to be renegotiated.  i doubt this would happen since he's obvs wanting to build around Durant/Bynum but the principle is important to make the Commish's life less miserable...)


GM's need to be more careful sending in their picks or the Commish may move to a zero-tolerance policy
