Sorry ill be more specific. I'll swap my 1.16 and 5th (maybe 4th) for a lower 2 and 3 pick (1-12/13)

You'd be getting ripped off then. By like, a lot.

I disagree. I think if it's early enough it wouldn't be awful.

I'm not interested in moving up anymore, but I think if me and KC offered our 2.4, 3.4 it'd be a reasonable trade.

It wasn't the 2.4, 3.4, it was the 4th rounder going back that gave me pause.

Oh ya, I figured that. Still, I don't think it'd be an awful trade

The Utah Jazz welcome back Deron Williams.

Definitely the right pick

Can't believe he slipped that far.

Best player available I'd say.

My only problem is that I think he will have a very small advantage over some PGs left who may go in late round 2/early round 3, while there are some players at other positions available who are be much better than their 3rd round counterparts.  The classic CB-Draft PG dilemma that nick preaches about.

EDIT:  But let's be real, there's no way a certain one of those point guards slips past IP at pick 1.18

Can't believe he slipped that far.

He's definitely the best player available, but he's been pretty lackluster since leaving Utah. Who just bought low on a top 3 PG, and his stock should rebound playing on a winner in '12-13.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

I think you underate his abilities as an offensive facilitator. But when it comes to just lining up AST% and PPG and the like you're right.

That's because, like I said before, he didn't have any help. Let's remember, he went as far as the WCF with a better surrounding cast. He can easily bring a team there again with a support group better than what he has in the Nets.

2008 Deron, or even 2009 Deron (19-11, 47%-37%-80%) yeah. 2011-12 Deron? Not so much.

Obviously the best player left.

Gooooooood pick. Still the 2nd best PG in the league, imo.

I guess it depends on who he's surrounded with.  DW did a great job facilitating in Utah and a horrible job of it in NJ.  Even though he had a crap surrounding cast in NJ, I still was disappointed in what he was able to do there.  Maybe he just needs that one good sidekick like he had in Utah.

There is another PG in the league who hasn't been drafted that led an equally bad team to a much better win total this past season.
