Which is the better player?

And if Powe wasnt better.....Do you think if he (was never injured) that he could have been much better than Bass?

Was watching some youtube highlights of Powe. I forgot just how he was one tough SOB. I understand Bass has the nice jumper. But I think Powe could have been a really good player in this league if never messed up his knee (Didnt he have multiple surgeries?)

can we take Powe's rebounding and give it to Bass?

i do believe Leon Powe was either 1 or 2 ranked player in high scool, so id say an healthy Leon Powe would be alot better than Bass. Right Now Bass is the better player, Powe can barly jump of the floor or get his shot off anymore. So Bass it is!

It's a shame injuries ruined Powe. He was so fun to watch back in the 2008 playoffs. Game 2 of the 08 Finals will forever be one of my favorite games.

I'll take a healthy Leon Powe.

Ok I know Im going to be hyping the 08 team too much..

But the Celtics had IDGAF dudes on that squad. Guys like Powe, Posey, House, and even Tony Allen (He was much better after 08 imo) .....Perk is a given...even though he was another one who better before the serious knee injury (Sorry..but Perk looked useless against Miami this year...he use to be the perfect role player on the C's)

Those ruff and rugged dudes would have been the nice mix to go against a team like Miami.

yeah it's pretty sad seeing Sully push him around and beat him up in Summer League

On one hand, I think Bass is overrated.  Most of his offense comes from open looks.I like Danny's re-signing him from a value standpoint, since we can hopefully move him some day.  But even if Sullinger struggles to post up bigs, with his range, I question whether he already couldn't do most of what Bass does with better rebounding.

Still, Leon was largely the same and didn't have Bass's jump shot.

Straight up what they each offered, I'll take Bass.  If we were going to go value per dollar, considering what Bass is being paid now, I'd probably go with Leon.

Bass can shoot but Leon is a warrior.  That being said he is damaged goods.

It has to be Bass by a landslide. Im very surprised that Powe has more of the general votes so far.

Powe hasn't been that way since high school so you can't project that.  You never know how or if he would have delvoped.  There are numerous stories of highly rated high school kids who don't make it in the Pros...
