Has better career shooting % than green and peaches TS% (59.3 vs 54.2 vs 52.6). Although Josh takes the least amount of shoots of the three.

Josh has also better rebounding number than either two, on a per minute basis.

would mind if the c's added him.

Yea thats basically my thought. While on ATL he was noticeably better than either green or pietrus. Even two seasons ago in his first year back from abroad he was worse than he usually is but still anout as good as green. Bad shooting year last year. But for the vet min you cangamble that he will return to bejng about greens level, ad thats a guy we are paying 9mil abyear for.

I can see bringing in Childress if Pietrus comes back, but you really think he is as good or better than Green? He is just trying to find a spot on an NBA roster at this point in time. I might take a flyer on the guy, but I don't see him returning to his ATL days.

Hell yes ... Josh Childress would make an excellent third string small forward.

Josh Childress took two free throws in 34 games last season (and missed both of them).  491 minutes.  That has to be some kind of record.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

Yeah, it's important to remember that we're talking about a possible third-stringer, and Childress seems reasonable for that role—although he's a mediocre (at best) 3pt shooter, for his career he does average about 10 points and 5-6 rebounds per 30 minutes, which is decent.

Then again, Pietrus has good-to-great defense, a killer personality, and he should be healthier now (and thus, hopefully, more potent offensively). Plus, he already knows the team and system.

No, we're talking about someone who can play substantial minutes (20+) starting or off the bench for ~2 months.

We already have a third stringer in Moore, no need to sign another one.

And I'll predict he'll join the Lakers.  California kid, fits the Matt Barnes role.

Sign someone else to be the backup SG. Not interested in Childress for that role.

Childress = fifth wing in depth chart. Very interested in Childress for this role.
