No risk to a minimum contract, so yes. Unless they are so close to cap that cutting him would cause problems.

Insurance in case your third SF, temporary SG spot falls through with Pietrus, Lee, et al.

Rondo, JET
Childress
Pierce, Green

-- until AB gets back. Yes you might have Moore, Joseph, and JJJ - but you also might not. They also might all (keep) stinking at NBA level. I'd take Childress over Moore all day.

I think customs confiscated his jump shot when he was leaving Greece.  It's very strange.  The guy was a decent shooter before going over to Europe.  His numbers shooting the long ball over there weren't terrible either.

The only explanation I can think of is that the change to the international 3 point line and then back to the NBA one threw him off.  It's a pretty lame excuse.

If we don't re-sign Peaches, I'd definitely take a chance, though.

Before he went overseas, he was considered a great young prospect, much in the vein of how Nic Batum is looked at currently.

He's strictly a SF at this point in his career, right?

Would prefer Lee, Pietrus, Delfino first.

I agree, but I don't think it was customs who robbed him of his jumpshot as much as it was some tough Euro's roughing him up at some point. He still has a 14-year old boy's frame IMO.
