SportsCenter @SportsCenterBREAKING - Report: Knicks done deliberating, WILL NOT match Houston's offer sheet for Jeremy Lin. @JLin7 will be a Rocket.
How does this effec the Lee situation for us??
Not official yet, but has been reported by Howard Beck of the New York Timeshttp://www.nytimes.com/2012/07/18/sports/basketball/knicks-lin-rockets-offer-sheet.html?_r=1&smid=tw-shareVery surprising to me. If the Knicks just offered Lin 3/$24m from the jump,, they wouldn't have lost him. One would think that one of the two most valuable franchises in sports could manage to hire a competent GM.
Frank Isola, Al Iannazzone, and Sam Amick all say that the Knicks have not notified Houston that they are not matching.
Love it ... hoping they can couple Jeremy Lin + Dwight Howard together.
