I don't think he's a diva. And I think he's an exceptional, all  star caliber, point guard. But given my choice, I'm going to take Horford over almost every point guard in the league.

All the offensive skills you listed are irrelevant since Deron is dominant on that end of the floor and Horford is not.

And yeah, Horford is a decent passer....Deron is one of the best passers the NBA has seen in recent years, along with Nash, CP3 and Rondo.

The gap between Deron/Horford defensively is miniscule compared to the gap offensively.

They are out of the running for Dwight and needed a quality big.  I don't think it's horrible double digit rebounders don't grow on trees and he should have his head on better without being mr. Kardashian.
