Looks to me like a sign and trade with Dal or Hous has been a pipe dream all along.  We simply can't give up our garbage and expect the rest of the league to roll over and get us what we want.  Heck, they're trying to win too.

So it looks like we are down to minimum type guys (unless we still have the biannual exception?).  We will be reduced to waiting to see who shakes out of the tree once everyone good signs elsewhere.

So who; Pietrus, Christmas, some other washed up or never was?

You know, before the concussion Pietrus was sparking our team defensively.  He was considering going to Germany to see Kobe's doctor.  I'm not sure if he ultimately did but another year away from knee surgery and he could be back much closer to his old self which would be a big win for small money.

What is wrong with Micheal Pietrus? He wants to come back. What ever happened to Keyon Dooling?

Maybe we will get an early Christmas gift on Columbus Day!

Perhaps the solution to the Ray Allen replacement is in our lockerroom.

I think we will still come up short in rebounding becuase Garnett, Wilcox, Sully, JJJ, FabMelo, and Bass is not enough. Garnett tutors this group.

Paul Pierce tutors Jeff Green.

Rondo, our PG is going to be the ticket to our NBA dreams (which is winning our eighteenth title).
The beatings will continue until morale improves

I wouldn't mind rolling the dice on Martell Webster, who apparently is Jason Terry's cousin?

Lee has to agree to the S&T before he can be moved.

That is one rambling jumble of thought right there. Really touched all the bases in the no-no zone.

We have been dealing with this for almost a week now.

2. Cj Miles
3. Brewer
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz

Corey Brewer would be just mana from heaven if he can continue his play from last season.

EDIT: No, you mean Ronnie Brewer. Meh.

Well Pietrus seems to want more than what we can offer. My list of guys I'd be looking at right now would be like this:

Terrence Williams, Shannon Brown, Tracy McGrady

Would be good to see a guard that can actually dunk a ball once in a while.

Pietrus would be a good choice. He knows the system and the coach knows how to use him. He's a threat from the three-point line and a good defender. I'm not sure tha he wants a lot of money. When the search of another SG stops, I hope that Ainge makes a deal with him!

Now what?

We celebrate Dallas taking Mayo and this preventing Danny from screwing up and signing him.

Then, we hope Houston is a little more willing to deal with us than Dallas apparently wasn't.  Lee would still be a good get.

After that, it's hoping Pietrus takes a whatever small contract we can offer him.

We have been dealing with this for almost a week now.

As for getting a wing, the Wolves will sign free agent Courtney Lee if the price is right. But they won't wait long after Thursday morning. If his price is too high, they will move quickly to sign free agent Ronnie Brewer. If Lee waits too long, he won't be a Timberwolf. O.J. Mayo, who chose the Mavericks on Monday night, was never seriously on the Wolves' radar. The Wolves called on Mayo early in free agency but didn't keep in touch in the last few days.

The Wolves expect to get restricted free agent center Greg Stiemsma. Boston is over the cap, so the Wolves feel like they will be able to structure the contract in a fashion such that Celtics general manager Danny Ainge won't be able to match.

Why not?  The Lakers pull this off every year or two.
