Bird,Parish, and McHale. They are the only "Big Three" I think of. The second coming was close and that is over. Right now lets thing of the TEAM and not just three guys.
Thank you! Bird, Parish and McHale are the only true "Big Three." And it was a logical name seeing that all three guys are big! I've never called the new gang the big three and never will.
And I'm sick of all the other teams coming up with it too.

But Pierce, KG and Rondo are the three best players on our team. And it's been that way for some time now.

I totally agree was about to post about the same thing.

A big three is nothing more then a collection of three All-Star Caliber players. That is Rondo, Pierce, and KG hence they are the big three of Boston.

KG: "Dude.... What is up with yo shorts?!"

I consider us to be a really well balanced all around team now. Though we still have three dominant players, there is so much talent spread all around that I just think of us as a big 12.

Weren't we calling this team the Big 4 for a little while anyways? Anyways, I tend to avoid using annoying cliches like that but using logic: Big 4 minus one guy still = Big 3.

If it were up to ESPN, the Spurs, Thunder, Celtics, Heat, and Lakers all have Big 3/4.

Super annoying and cliche. Danny ainge Resurrected it in 2008.
