I just ran across this on Youtube and wow. I'm so glad he's coming back and is going to retire as a Celtic.

The heart this man has is off the charts. Anybody who isn't a fan of KG is a [dang] fool.
Signed to a 6 year $0 contract with the Celtics Blog forum!

With KGs statement, "it's not about me, it's about us", makes you wonder what he really thinks of Ray leaving.

Considering that the whole quote is "This ain’t golf. It ain’t tennis. It ain’t about me. It’s about us", it seems he just dissed 2012 Allen from seven in years in the past.

Great vid btw, TP to the OP.

Great video that I'd never seen before. He's a true team player, and I'm SO glad he's still in Boston. TP to the OP.

That's a classic interview.  I'd be surprised by any NBA fan who hasn't already seen it.  It was a huge deal when it happened.

That interview was one of the main reasons a lot of general NBA fans became huge supporters of KG.  His passion was believable.  It wasn't until he went to Boston that those same fans turned on him.  People love a passionate underdog... but on a frontrunning Boston team it came across as "bully".  General NBA fans quickly forgot why they were rooting for KG and instead he became the "bad guy" on an evil Celtic team.  Now that our team is inching back towards irrelevance and the clear dominant teams are squads like Miami... KG suddenly becomes the "old underdog" again and people are jumping back on the love train.

Whats driving you? KG: That Im losing. Im losing.........Im losing

Gave me chills, I imagine he just now got over game 7 in 2010. Really wish KG could have been a Celtic his whole career instead of wasting away in Minny.

Minny shouldnt be allowed to have a super-star, I cant believe they never went to the Finals with KG. How stupid can you be to not place real talent around a guy like Garnett, it could have been much more special. Any other franchise besides LA Clippers would have done a better job. Just the luck of the draw for KG.
