KG truly embodies what it means to be a basketball player. Talent, obviously, but more importantly, passion. Everyone knows that KG going to give it his all when he's on the court.
A lot of people say that his emotional leads to dirtiness, but I don't look at it that way. KG has played in the old and new NBA. He played when defenses were allowed to be more physical. Like he said, "I'm built this way." KG isn't just going to change the way he plays because Stern wants the Lakers and Heat to win the game to be safer. That's the way I perceive his toughness and physical play.
If i had to choose what word to describe KG(other than 'a Celtic'), I would say 'soldier' is appropriate. He worked so hard in 'Sota, a lot of times not getting the credit he deserved, but his patience and loyalty led to the ultimate goal, a championship.
It has truly been an HONOR to witness your play, Kevin Garnett.
