Just want to get some ideas and oppinions from you all about potential big men that may be available this off season? I think we could use a true center, someone who is proven who can get boards and control the paint.  A perkins type? is there anyone out there like that for us??

Frankly, I doubt the C's can get anything but a bad Center with the assets they have to work with.

So, who's out there?  Maybe Wilcox, but he's more F than C, and is he cleared to play yet? Haywood has been let go and Darko probably will be let go...what's Brand and K Brown's status? Hollins and Williams are a pair the C's could re-sign. Oden wants to sign with somebody. Anybody else?

So, anybody up there you want? And if there are, would they sign for vet min or BAE ($1.9M)?

Well there isnt intriguing prospects left out there.. But there is one guy and i hate to say it ugh.. Jermaine Oneal.
I personally dont want him back even if its for the BAE.

But other guys left out there is;
Kwame Brown
Wilcox
Ryan Hollins
Joel Przybilla
Nazr Mohammed
Fesenko
Haddadi
Dampier.

Well Nazr Mohammed could be a good cheap pickup but besides that i dont like whats left out there.

If it came down to that list Haddadi?

Haddadi is a good prospect, he always seems to dominate when playing for Iran I just dont understand why his game hasnt translated to the NBA.

Elton Brand would be solid.

I can't imagine him getting through waivers.

Does Cleveland, or somebody, still have Erden signed, or is he a FA? I'd certainly like to have him back on a vet min contract.

I think that he signed with a team overseas before FA started.

Aandolu Efes Istanbul announced the signing of Semih Erden for the next two season with an option for a third one. Erden has played the last two years in the NBA with Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers averaging 3.8ppg and 2.8rpg in 69 games.
Yup Semih is off the market.

Yes! Minutes for Sully! lol. I actually wouldn't mind letting Melo and Sully get pt in the regular season. It'd be nice for a rookie to contribute for once. And they would have some exp to help when the postseason comes.
