I can see how some might find him annoying.

I think he's an extremely genuine guy. He is totally geeked about what he does.

I too remember the fantasy show he hosted. My first impression of him was, "Is this guy for real?" The more I watched him, the more he grew on me.

And I too would take Rick Kamla over Mike Breen any day of the week, and twice on Sunday.

He is a bit geeky, but you NEVER want "DEAD" air time, so his mouth keeps running , and while it never stops, that is what he is SUPPOSE to do.  He would be fired if he didn't keep the conversations and topics going NON STOP.  He does a great job with NOT alot to work with people sitting beside him.

He does better than these two guys today did IMO,  I almost went to sleep they were so dry and low key.

Kamla's always been a favorite of mine.  He's the ultimate hoops geek.  That dude loves watching, following, and talking about the NBA, and has for a long time. 

NBATV doesn't compare to any other basketball coverage.  It's for geeks.  Kamla will always be the head geek as far as I'm concerned.

Keep up the good work, Rick.

Kambla could be the Scottie Pippen of  BA halftime shows, better hoops knowledge than Ernie Johnson by a country mile.

If he could only play the straight man. Too often he tries to steal the show with terrible jokes.

That fantasy NBA show was the best

I agree his voice is naturally obnoxious but he seems to genuinely love NBA basketball and knows what he's talking about.
