I'd prefer getting Lee if the price isn't exhorbitant but Pietrus is my preferred plan B provided he's healthy.  I'd definitely bring him to camp to see if he's back to making 3's (like in the regular season instead of bricking them in the playoffs)

This.

Lee would be great longterm no question but if it doesn't work you've still got a great guy to plug in at the 2 spot who can hold the fort down, defend, hit shots, be a great lockerroom guy until AB is recovered and then slot nicely behind him off the bench at 2 spots.
Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity...

Oh look a free agent who actually loves playing for the Celtics. Lets see how Celtics will screw up this one too.

Pietrus is a great teamplayer we should bring him back.
Or Roster right now;
Rondo/Moore (If he doesnt get cut)
Avery/JET
Paul/Green/Joseph (If he makes the team)
Bass/Sullinger/JaJuan
Garnett/Melo
Well thats 12 players. Even tho we get Lee we will need to give up players (JaJuan and Etwaun maybe)? There is plenty of space on the roster for Mickael.. SIGN HIM DANNY!

Given that he'll likely want more than the BAE I imagine they already "screwed it up" by signing Jason Terry.

Exactly what have they screwed up this offseason?

I cannot believe some people would rather have Courtney Lee than MP..
When you lose, the easy part is to see who gives up. Giving up is very simple. You basically take your stuff and walk away. To continue to work and to continue to compete is one of the most difficult things, especially when you really don't have anything - KG

No disrespect to MP, but Lee is a better defender for guard spots, he's younger, more agile and at this stage of their careers, a better three point shooter. That's why.

I agree with the above quote,

I also feel that Lee and Pietrus should be added to this team. Depth on the wing is so valuable in todays NBA. With AB or Terry possibly serving as the backup point there should be room for an additional wing.

I dont think Lee is going to be here and honestly id rather have Pietrus. Pietrus is everything a Celtic should be and I cant believe that management will pass up on a guy that can provide as much off the court as he will on the court. Great locker room presence and team leader. Off MP the BAE and I bet he takes it.

Agree with this if we can get Stiemsma back.

I don't think this is his official Facebook page.  It looks like a fan page.

hoping Moore & JJJ get traded for a piece, opens up room for MP & Dooling who have proven playoff roles.

We are at 12 and will have to sign at least one more big if not 2.  One will probably be Stiemsma, especially now that Minny is working on a trade with Portland for Batum.

That goes to 13.  To get Lee in a sign and trade we'd have to give away salary.  JJJ and EM don't seem to be anywhere near the salary they'd have to give away.  So... I'm not seeing who on the roster could be a 3 or 4 mil per year type to make it happen with Lee.
