I think from his answers it's pretty clear Ray knows he is half the player he used to be and it would show in boston, but he can probably hide it in Miami by needing to do less. It will extend his career to play for the heat.

Ray said he, Danny and Doc will be friends for life. And they are glad he's gone b/c he won't be taking their money on the golf course any more.

Also, said he reached out to KG and PP and said he appreciates them and all they've done for him.
