AB, Lee, Pierce, KG, Dwight

with Terry, Green, Bass & Sully as your 9 man rotation. KG

Terry can be moved to play point guard( he did some times playnig for Atlanta). So starting lineup will be

Terry/PP/Bass/ KG/DH12

I prefer to root for a team whose players are adults.

If Howard were willing to sign an extension with Boston, this would be a no-brainer for the Celtics. While Rondo is a great player, Howard is one of the few players that you unquestionably trade him for.

I would see if it were possible to move some first rounders instead of Bradley, though. I can't help but think Orlando would rather bottom out, though. I don't think Rondo is a guy who can lead a bunch of awful players to a title, but he is certainly a guy who can lead a bunch of awful players to an 8 seed in the East, which is not helpful in any way.

Rondo, Bradley, Green, Bass and Melo

for

Howard, Turkoglu, Richardson

the magic would love that deal. And i do mean LOVE.
Some kindv rondo for howard deal may have made the tiniest shred of sense if we also signed d-will. But even then, it wouldnt make sense if we had to trade every bit of young talent we had.

Bass and/or KG aren't SFs

Bass would be the first big off the bench in this hypothetical.

Maybe you right , but Bass can be adapted to this role. In other case, Bass on the bench and Pietrus on start line up

Good point re Deron Spinz.

What if you traded Bradley, Green, Sullinger, Melo and draft picks?

An argument could be made that Bradley and Green is a potentially better haul than Brook Lopez and players. And again, I'd personally have no interest in Bynum because you can't depend on him, IMHO, especially as the centerpiece of your team...

That deal would largely depend on Orlando's assessment of:

Bradley's full potential
Green's ability to develop
What you thought the ceiling was for Melo and Sullinger.

really its a world of "could haves." If we could have traded rondo for dwight, then maybe we could have signed ray, and maybe we could have convinced d-will to take less money to play for us.

Try to get Dwight minus Rondo. Otherwise forget it. Rondo is too valuable to trade at this point. He is the system. Without him the whole ship sinks.

Dwight is piece to a championship. If you gut the team, the ship will sink. Deja Vu Orlando Magic.

There isn't a superstar in the league I'd less like to have on my team than Howard. Can't imagine rooting for this whiny, immature, and selfish prick.

i have to agree pretty much.. Sure stat-wise he makes us better for years to come... but you just know at any moment he could pull a tantrum and destroy the team.

There is no great team on NBA history, winning team I mean, based on power of point guard or bulid around point guards. Remember Bulls of 90s based on powe of big guys: Pippen+MJ, or Lakers of 2000 based on Shaq. You can not bulit a great team based on Rondo himself. No way...

I repeat: IF Cs wish te win the NBA title, they have to sign DH12.
