One Million miles from where he needs to be. I know he's only been playing for six years, it looks like he's been playing for six weeks.

Seriously though he is huge, can move and jump but it's gonna be a LONG slow road unfortunately. I wanted Sully and Perry Jones. I thought we were lucky to have a shot at grabbing them both.

Please Average Mayo, prove me wrong.

Honestly dont know what your talking about. he played great help defense, blocked a few shots, and even hit a jumper. Exactly what the Celtics will want from him minus the jumper.

Totally agree. Don't like much about Melo's game at all.

I understand completely the need to reach at 22. What I don't understand is passing on CLEARLY the highest-ceiling player available at 22 for a player with major on-court limitations and equally significant character questions.

If you're going to roll the dice on risk, make sure you get the biggest reward.  OKC is going to be very happy with PJIII.

His scoring will improve once he's getting passes from Rondo and not Moore and Gibson

Perry Jones isn't a big man, he's just another giant jumpshooter. Fab Melo can go out there right now and block shots. That sounds fine to me.

Remember also Erden looked awful in Summer League two summers ago, then he made an impact in his rookie year.

Summer League is similar to the CBA, guards looks better out there,CBA is guard dominated, so is summer leagues.

His speed really impressed me, a couple times he was out on the 3 point line and quickly recovered back into the paint to stop his man from scoring.
