Boston Acquires: Kris Humpries & Gerald Green via (S&T)from NJ

New Jersey gets: Dwight Howard, Brandon Bass & Mikeal Pietrus (S&T) from Bos

Orlando gets: Brook Lopez, Gerald Wallace, Marshon Brooks & Jujaun Johnson 2013,2015,2017 1st from NJ along with a 2013 1st from Boston totalling 4 1st rounders overall to make it happen.

I am by no way a capologist but I think that deal could work numbers wise if New Jersey is that desperate to get Howard that they will throw away a better PF in Hump for Bass & give Orlando a solid fringe All-Star when healthy in Wallace in place of Hump. I think thats a nice hual for Orlando being they are going to lose him next year for nothing. 2 possible All-Stars & 4 1st rounders. Orlando can't let that deal walk, And I think all sides would agree as it fills everyone needs.

Boston Lineup:

C : Kevin Garnett
PF: Kris Humpries
SF: Paul Pierce
SG: Gerald Green (Only until Bradley's healthy)
PG: Rajon Rondo

New Jersey Lineup:

C : Dwight Howard
PF: Brandon Bass
SF: Mikeal Pietrus
SG: Joe Johnson
PG: Deron Williams

Orlando Lineup:

C : Brook Lopez, Glen Davis
PF: Glen Davis, Andrew Nicholson, JJJ, Turk
SF: Gerald Wallace, Hedo Turkoglu, Jason Richardson, Q Rich
SG: Marshon Brooks, J.J. Redick, J-Rich
PG: Jameer Nelson, Chris Duhon

Terrible trade for Boston. Good for Orlando from a rebuilding stand point with the picks but they wont take on Wallace's new contract.

Much rather have Bass than Kris Kardashian.

horrible trade for Boston.  We give up Bass, Pietrus, JJJ and a 1st rounder for Mr Kardashian and Gerald Green (who we didn't miss after the first time we shipped him out)   ::)

Terrible trade for Boston.  I'm not sure I'd want Humphries over Bass straight up.

I think we should avoid trades that help NJ get Howard.

Howard becomes an unrestricted free agent after this year. Only way he plays for the team he really wants is through S&T. That would mean straight up Howard for  Andrew Bynum, more than likely. Lakers, I think, are running out of 1st round picks in the next 5 years, so they can't offer any more of those late 1st round picks.

I think alot of you guys on CB seriously over value our guys. Kris Humpries is lightyears better than Bass. And he solves a huge need in rebounding. Plus it doesn't look like Pietrus will come back too cheap so why not get a young serviceable & still improving player in Gerald Green in place of Pietrus. In the deal if we could keep the 1st it's a definite win-win for us!

Seriously.

It seems like no one has actually seen "Mr. Kardashian" play. He is so much better than Bass its not even funny. Have you even looked at his rebounding numbers? Our biggest weakness? Such an upgrade. I've been wanting Humphries for awhile.

I think this is the first time I've actually agreed with a trade proposal on these boards.

I don't think we nee to give up a first rounder though.

Woww.. And it's so hard to get rebounding in NJ.. Who else is gonna do it beside him? Petro? Deron?

When you lose, the easy part is to see who gives up. Giving up is very simple. You basically take your stuff and walk away. To continue to work and to continue to compete is one of the most difficult things, especially when you really don't have anything - KG

would prefer to keep our first rounder but Kris Kardashian is an upgrade to Bass rebounding wise. we might be able to get pietrus cheap seeming he wants to play here. i like this deal (excluding our first rounder)

I heard Humphries is going to CLE in a sign and trade that could help NJ land Dwight.   Just a rumor but we will see.

Humphries is a far better player than Bass.
I'll take MP over Green though  ::)
