Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but could we do a double sign and trade with Miami and Ray for Lee or Mayo or do a sign and trade with Miami and Ray and use those players in a seperate sign and trade deal for Lee or Mayo?

I'm pretty sure both of those secnarios aren't available because I don't believe double sign and trades are allowed and if we do a sign and trade with Miami involving Ray I believe the players that we retain have to be on our team for a certain amount of time.

Correct me if I'm wrong and whether we can do a double sign and trade with Miami using the players or w.e. we get from them, or a combination of what we get from them and some assets we got, in a double sign and trade for Mayo or Lee or whether we could do a seperate deal after a sign and trade with Miami and Ray.

I would love to see CL with the C's.  Rondo, AB, Jet and Lee would be a great combo.  Especially with AB missing some time early in the season.

If we trade Dooling, what backup PG would be available for the veteran minimum?

Derek Fisher, Nate Robinson, Stephon Marbury, Gilbert Arenas, Anthony Carter, Ronnie Price, Jannero Pargo, Mike Bibby, Royal Ivey, Jonny Flynn, Ben Uzoh, Sundaita Gaines, Gabe Pruitt, Sebastian Telfair, Baron Davis.

I also am loath to give away Dooling given the positive impact he had on Rondo during the course of last season.

I'm not saying Dooling is indispensable, just saying perhaps there are other forms of salary filler (Pavlovic? Marquis?) that might be more easily given up.

Delonte West...would love him back! Knows our system, played with Terry last year, etc..

Wow, there's not a single guy on that list that I would like to have, even for the minimum.

How much of a trade exception can they get from Trading Ray to Miami?

Is it possible Boston is looking to do that to turn around and send the exception and 1st round pick to Houston?    (plus in a separate trade, a bunch of the players mentioned)  Try and get both Lee and Camby?

I would love for that to happen.

Not much of one I think.

I don't think Miami have a trade exception to offer. Can't think of a move they've made over the past year that would've created one.

Don't wanna get my hopes up, but this would be a huge get. Lee is a gamer, has finals experience, and likes playing defense. Orlando trading him for Vince Carter was the beginning of the end for tjem, IMO.

A Rondo/Bradley/JET/Lee backcourt rotation would be great. A lot of different skill sets and versatility there.

According to the ESPN trade machine they don't have one at all.

Who knows how accurate that is though.

I would love this. Lee is starter quality, with no major flaws - he can defend, shoot and finish all at above-average levels. Assuming Bradley starts once he is healthy, this would be a great stopgap IMO. I actually think Courtney Lee is a better player than Ray Allen at this point in their careers. Lee is in his prime, and Ray is hanging on. And Terry + Lee off the bench, wow, that's a very nice bench backcourt.

Looks like Danny's been through half that list once already.
