The Boston Celtics have emerged as a serious suitor for Courtney Lee after coach Doc Rivers met with the free-agent guard Saturday night, according to sources familiar with Boston's thinking.

can D up on Wade and knock down the 3 at a very good clip. He is also more offensively gifted than Pietrus I think, although I wouldn't mind signing both of them .

I like this a lot. He has always had a ton of potential but seems to always be in the "wrong" situation. I think he would be a good fit with the Celtics.

Yeah, i always like Lee. And dont think he would cost as much as Pietrus or Dooling. Lee has just had been on bad teams or been injured. With Bass and Green in the fold and Sullinger being drafted, JJJ probably wont see any time so it be best for him to go somewhere else and get some minutes.

I would too as long as his head is in the game. That's the problem, it usually is not in the game. Lee seems like a gamer.

Why would we need to sign and trade? We can give Lee 3-4 Million, I doubt he's worth more than that. Maybe 5 million at this point in his career?

Could we do a S&T using JJJ, and the non-guaranteed contracts of Moore and Sean Williams, plus a draft pick? What would Lee's salary be?

I'd like to get Lee too, but as to S&ting JJJ, I don't know why Houston would want him.  They have a boatload of young PFs on their squad already, unless they're planning on moving some of them.
