The darn Heat "fans" keep saying that having Bosh would make their victory "inevitable".
Man, those Heat "fans" sure love talking trash. I cannot believe I overlooked this fact though...
April 1, 2012.
72-91. Celtics handed the cHeat their arses.
We're talking the Heat at full force.
We had no Ray Allen on top of the "usual" string of injuries.
Wade brushed it off because it was "April Fools".
By the end of the series with the cHeat, we had 4 healthy players. KG, Rondo, Bass and Keyon Dooling. On top of that 1/3rd of a Ray, 1/3rd of a Paul Pierce and 1/3rd of Pietrus.
Forget the refs...
Because next season we'd get Wilcox, Jeff Green, AB, Jason Terry and the other 2/3rds of Paul Pierce.
And the rooks. A more seasoned Jajuan Johnson, Fab Melo and Sully.
Don't forget the free agnecy is not over either. We could have Stiemsma and Pietrus at 100% next season. Or we could sign and trade/sign other players.
This team has beaten the cHeat at full force.
Even with something as astronomically unlikely as two perfectly healthy young players getting heart problems and the rest of the roster falling apart with that injury bug, we took the cHeat to 7 games with an extremely depleted roster (it's not the loss of Bosh vs Bradley; it's Bosh vs half our rotation).
We got younger, bigger, faster, meaner this year.
