Can't defend....and we cannot afford him
Cannot defend, cannot think, and thank God we cannot afford the lowest basketball IQ I've ever seen in a Celtic uniform.

You have obviously not watched the progress this kid has made.  And as far as the lowest basketball IQ you have ever seen in a Celtics uniform, did you miss the ML Carr-Pitino Era?
Gerald Green would be a viable athletic option off the bench. Certainly, more of an upside than Etwaun Moore.

Given a choice between the two of them....I'd take Moore every time. Not even close.

I've seen him play in New Jersey.

He still can't defend a chair. And his comprehension of the game is as poor as anyone.

If I have to choose, I'll take Moore all the time.

In the words of Paul Bryant, "You can't fix stupid." Green isn't going to get any smarter, basketball-wise.

I will never understand the bizarre romantic attachment Celtics fans have to this guy. He can't do a thing well except dunk, and dunking is irrelevant.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

Why would you ever call another man stupid that you don't personally know? And alot of people happened to see a young kid learning while here & providing good numbers when given the green light to do his 1 trick he had at that time which is score. He is no longer a 1 trick Pony because he has matured, his body his filled out nicely & he knows where to be now while on the floor. And finally if you had been thrown into the fire out of highschool & looked terrible which I know you would have Bo, the last thing smart person would have said is you looked stupid! A person with sense would just said you are just very young & learning how the NBA game is being played. Being we all know how Boys think as opposed to how Men think! Lightyears of difference maturity wise & you should know this if you are indeed as smart as you claim to be.

As I mentioned in a recent fanpost of mine, you can make most if not all players sound useless if you describe them in simple terms. Here: E'Twaun Moore is relatively slow and unathletic. He's a tweener at the guard as he's not a good enough ball handler/passer to be called a one and too undersized to be called a two. I guess all you can really say is that he can shoot.

For Green: He had trouble understanding basketball schemes in his early days and wasn't a great shooter. His defense is poor. I guess all you can really say is that he can score in the paint.

The reality is, shooting is huge part of the game and Moore is good at that. Just because he's not an exceptional ball handler/passer doesn't mean he isn't good either, and he also has the "it" factor, the clutch gene (a small sample size but still) as displayed in the Celtics 27 point comeback against Orlando in the regular season.

The same about face can be made for Green. He's seemed to mature and grow mentally, he's improved his shot which also alludes to growth in work ethic and self-awareness, he's athletic enough to defend if put in the right situation and also, when did being able to score in the paint become "just" being able to score in the paint?

Draft: 8 first rounders in next 5 years.

He cant do a thing well but dunk?

1. Outside jumper
2. Offensive Rebound
3. Finish on the Break
4. Score the Basket (without plays being called for him)

You need to do your homework on Gerald.
