If AB was heathly ... wouldn't matter.  AB can play circles around Ray at this point in Rays life.

Danny used the money to bring BASS back .

as well as securing green

I think it is a little alarming that KG or PP havnt came out publically recruting Ray as Lebron and Dwade have. PP is on twitter alot and you would think he would mention Ray.

Maybe they dont care but I have a feeling that this whole Rondo/Ray feud is real and they have Rondo's side.

im sure theyve been calling him to try and get him to come....but you have to think it irks them watching this whole thing play out.

Allen HATED coming off the bench for boston but is seemingly ok with backing up Wade..

Maybe they feel like they're too mature to play games on Tweeters and Facebooks.

To be fair, as much as I hate him, Wade isn't an untested third year guy. Hurts the ego less when you're backing a top 5 player in the NBA compared to AB.

Ray Allen is a good player.....for his age. The C's have some good players....for their age. I've yet to understand the plan for the future. I think most of these guys will retire before the end of their contract.- Ray needs to understand the officials are not going to call fouls on lebron or wade. Somebody on that team will get their fouls.

Really dont think showing public support of your teammate to rejoin is considered a "game". Now if Paul named his Farmville "Shuttlesworths Orchard" and posted a pic of it, then yes he is too mature for games.

soo...no riley,lebron or wade.

sounds like Miami really considers ray very important to their plans ::)

I thought LeBron and Wade were there, well judging from how giddy they acted over this "big day"

If Allen and Miami are still talking, it has to be buying time while they try to figure out a sign and trade to get him more money.  Not sure Danny will want to help make this happen but in the end, he would probably rather take something back than get nothing.

Chalmbers @ $4M could get Ray up to about $5M and even though we really don't need a $4 combo gaurd, he does have value.  For example, if Bradley misses a couple of months, MC is a perfect fill-in, then we trade him during the season to replace whoever is injured at the time.

I think I could actually live with this.  I wonder if there is any chance that this is actually a possibility.

at least you cant say the Celtics havent tried...offered him more $$, threw in a no-trade clause

if Ray allen goes to the heat,  he just never wanted to come back.

I hope Ray is ready to be a hated man in boston...because he is about to get the johnny damon treatment...i guess i never saw ray allen as a ring-chasing mercenary

I don't see him being hated. The heat aren't quite the yankees. Lakers yes, but not the heat.
