Isn't signing Garnett, Terry, Green, Bass 2 first round draft picks and possibly Ray Allen blockbuster enough for everyone? Shows you just how spoiled we have become in Boston when we can signed seven such excellent stars and players and people are still wondering if a blockbuster move is coming.

I wonder if the people in Charlotte, Toronto, Milwaukee, New York, Orlando, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Golden State, Sacramento, Houston, and a host of other NBA cities wish they could have the lack of blockbuster moves that the Celtics have had this off season.

No one appreciates your reasoned approaches to topics Nick. LET HYSTERIA REIGN!

Hysteria is just so much more fun to engage in.  Reason is boring.  ;D

He has Green and Bass to work with, so is it possible that he's planning on something big to bring an unexpected talent to Boston?
Can he sign & trade Green? He wasn't on roster at end of last season, I thought that meant while retaining the Bird Rights, C's couldn't use him in S&T. Not sure about this though.

I think our best chance is AB and BB (S&T), plus some salary filler, plus draft picks ( Melo / futures.) Not sure who that can bring back that would be a block buster. KG cannot be traded, Pierce won't be traded.... that leaves Rondo as the only other piece that could lead to a block buster.
Green is not available for a sign+trade for the reason you cited.
