Boston Herald Link

I don't think his signing would effect the Ray Allen offer, we seem to be planning on spending the MLE no matter what.

I got no beef with that.  Jet is a rare player with his ability to excel off the bench.  Alot of times Bench guys are like bullpen arms, great one year, not so great the next, Jet has proven to be consistently great coming off the bench.

Love Jason Terry, would do it in a minute. I just hope Terry would take just the full mid level, I feel like Dallas would offer him a bit more to come back.

Sorry to say this, but Ray is screwing us right now.  If Ray would just agree to the $12/2 year deal that he's been offered, then we would have the MLE to spend on front line help.  Plus, there isn't even a guarantee that JET will accept the MLE.

Ray's got us in scramble mode.

SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

I don't think so, I think The celts want both Ray and Jet.

Everything I've heard/seen is that our MLE offer to terry isn't contingent on Ray not coming back.

My guess is that the C's don't like any of the front court options out their for the MLE.

I'm fine with that..the amount of years is what I'm curious about

I'd guess two years.

I know that they are saying that they'd like to have both Ray and JET, but that just doesn't make any sense to me.  Do we really need two back up shooting guards who will both command about 25 minutes a game?

You aren't getting a solid center for $5mill these days...I think dannys gonna turn it over to the youth.

Terry would be a great fit for us...he's a guy who can create his own shot

Yeah im thinking this too but with Bradley coming off surgery and not gonna be ready for camp you can't really count on him. Even when he gets healthy its hard to expect him to just start where he left off.

Plus terry can run some back up pg minutes as well. Is it that much different than us trying to stockpile power forwards last year with KG, Bass, jjj, and West?

If we bring on the Jet, it'd be like replacing Dooling.  He can play backup point and also the 2 in a 3 guard rotation.

That's kind of how I feel..ray was already unhappy about coming off the bench and now he'd have to split his bench duties with Jet??

Maybe Bradley's shoulder(s) are in more trouble than they're sharing??

I'm all for Terry.  Thanks for everything, Ray.  I hope the sunshine treats you well in LA or Miami.
