What do you all think about a potential sign and trade with Bass and Ray for Ibaka? We know that the Thunder have coveted Ray Allen in the past. There is no way that they'll be able to keep both Ibaka and Harden after this year. Ibaka's minutes were way down in the finals and with the general trend of going small in the NBA, I would think you'll see a lot more of Durant at the 4. We might have to throw in a kicker such as Fab Melo, but I think they would at least consider it.

On our end, that would solidify the post with a KG, Ibaka and Sully rotation as well as free us up to sign a wing to the MLE such as OJ Mayo. I think we'd also still have cap room to sign Jeff Green.

Thoughts?

The only way that trade happens is if Ibaka has heart trouble the Thunder's doctors haven't told management about.

(A) The Thunder say no.
(B) The salaries don't come close to matching. Cs would have to take back a contract, but I think THunder are pretty happy with all their contracts.....

You want to trade all our young prospects for an ageing, disgruntled, overrated center coming off back surgery? ROF**** at you!

Been reading some of these trade proposals. Gotta say...some of you guys aren't thinking this thing through. If Danny is offering Ray 6 million to stay?...he's pretty much telling you all the Celtics will be pretty much the same team next season. A few adjustments at best. Which I have no problem with.

A big man is no longer needed to win the title. We need rebounding for sure...but at the expense of 27 points (Ray & Bass) a game? Let's not forget we had trouble scoring last season, too.

So...you wouldn't do this deal?
2023 Historical Draft: Toronto Raptors

Point Guard: Anfernee Hardaway, Fat Lever, Terrell Brandon
Shooting Guard: Paul Westphal, Paul Pressey
Small Forward: Marques Johnson, Danny Granger
Power Forward: Jermaine O'Neal, Bobby Jones, Kiki Vandeweghe
Center: Marc Gasol, Serge Ibaka

Love it. Don't see why the Thunder do it though.
