Greg only produced for one half season and is pretty "old" for a prospect at 27. I think there is a good chance another team takes a chance on him, but it won't be for huge money.

Just to clarify, if Asik goes to Houston, they will be charged the average ($8.4-ish million) per year on the salary cap. He would only have a $15m final year salary cap figure if Chicago matched.

It makes zero sense. The team signing the player to the offer gets to amortize the average yearly salary over the lebngth of the contract whereas the team that owns the players Bird Right's has to add to the cap the actual amount paid to the player each year? Really stupid loophole that punishes the team owning the Bird Right's of the RFA.
