Dwight Howard met with new Magic GM Rob Hennigan Friday in LA. Howard told Hennigan he wants to be traded to Brooklyn Nets, sources say.

Hennigan did not tell Howard whether he would or would not trade him; he just heard Howard out.

Comes from Broussard so take it with a grain of salt. If true though, another superstar handcuffing his team.

Keep him for the next year just to spite him at this point. Guy is such a wishy washy headcase. Don't give him the satisfaction.

Howard is coming off back surgery for a similar problem to what Sullinger has that caused his value to drop to the 21st pick. If I where the Nets I would refuse to pay fair value until he proves his health during the regular season.

Howard better hope the Magic want Brook Lopez as a restricted free agent, because they don't have a lot of other enticing assets at this point.  Trading their lottery pick for Wallace was dumb; Lopez + Brooks + Barnes (or Drummond) looks a lot better than just Lopez + Brooks.

Howard has already handcuffed his team in multiple ways at many different times. He seems to be becoming a major cancer. I hope he goes to the nets and hits the lottery for 5 straight years.

This.

Howard has tried to act as the nice guy for the past couple of years, after seeing all of the torture that LeBron got from leaving Cleveland and doing "The Decision", but it's come to a point now where it is almost worse than all of the drama that unfolded with LeBron.

I hope Dwight's trade to the Nets gets vetoed for all of the Nets's good players...the moment Deron Williams signs elsewhere.

Is it possible? That's something I'd root for.

Id trade him for the best value they could get for him. I wouldnt care where that was, Id look for the best deal a team would offer and ship him out and say here you go, play the year out here you baby.

I hate Chris Broussard. I hate Dwight Howard's me me me personality.

That being said, I want Brooklyn to have a good team. They deserve it after losing the Dodgers some odd centuries ago.

Deron
Joe Johnson
Gerald Wallace
Humphries or stretch 4?
Howard
+ solid bench
= Contender
My pic is now, and will be Fab Melo until he posts his first official NBA dbl-dbl. This may be permanent.

Chances of Rashard Lewis to the Nets if this happens?
