just a trade idea. i think dannys gonna go after gortat. it's just my own thinking.

would jeff green for gortat work? or green and stiemsma work? would phoenix do it?

i just highly doubt danny resigns jeff green. he's overvalued.

no way phoenix trades gortat for anything less than rondo, and then not because they have brooks under control and just drafted marshall

and jeff green can not be sign and trade by the celtics because he wasn't on the roster, although the c's have his bird rights

Interesting. Couple the idea of Gortat with the rumor that Phoenix is very interested in Ray Allen, and that the Cs need a atarting caliber center... then S&T Bass to Memphis for Mayo?

8 man rotation: Rondo, Bradley, PP, KG, Gortat, with Mayo, Green, Sully off the bench?

Also, I think the Jeff Green is only "overvalue" here on Celticsblog. I've seen posts trot out the idea of him getting $9M a year. He won't. He'd be lucky to get half that with his heart condition.
Celtics fan for life.

yeah ive also read that idea of ray signing with phoenix. i dont think he will because they're a horrible team, but if he was to go there in a sign and trade, i would expect nothing less than gortat in return.

That Rotation could work but mayo and bradley would share the same amount of minutes because they would both be key factors in the game

Marcin Gortat is a 28-year-old legit center who averages 15 and 10, a couple blocks a game, and gets better every year. He's one of the most efficient centers in the NBA. Most specifically, he's the 10th best pick and roll man in the NBA and the 17th most efficient player, period in the NBA (Synergy). He grades out as an average defensive center in the NBA. This is a type of guy who probably deserves $11-13 million a year but is making $7 million. If the Suns trade him for any combination of Ray Allen, Jeff Green and Brandon Bass, the GM should be canned immediately.

But yes, I'd love Gortat.
