don't understand what the rockets want, Scola has been the most reliable player on that team for years, has a reasonable contract and injury free, what can they get by moving him?

Morey wants to get rid of the Scola/Martin core without getting criticized for it.  They have a roster much more in need of "blowing it up" than the Celtics.  They've finished 9th in the Western Conference three straight seasons after having a first round exit four out of six seasons.
