I guess it's just me, but I don't get the fascination with gunners around here: Crawford, Mayo, JR Smith, Lou Williams, Marshon Brooks. Is Nick Young available?
Hmm, because those guys can you know, actually put the ball in the net. Last time I checked, that was the object of the game, unless something changed in the NBA and I didn't get the memo.
The point of the game is still the same. Personally, I just have an aversion to guys who get most of their buckets on off the dribble, pull up jump shots. Sure, guys like that can get hot, but for the most part, offense stagnates when they are on the floor. I don't think their style fits our system or fits with a PG like Rondo or a big like KG.
I prefer guys who feel more comfortable spotting up and moving without the ball who can also play solid D, run the floor, and do more of the little things. Guys like, for example, Avery Bradley, and, hopefully, Kris Joseph.
If people feel compelled to talk about free agents who aren't our own, I'd rather go after someone like Brandon Rush or Nic Batum (who we probably won't get).
