Chris Broussard (I know, huge grain of salt) says the Nuggets have been talking to Golden State about trading Wilson Chandler for the W's #7 pick.

Would have to be some salary heading out of GState to make it work (maybe Dorell Wright).

Wonder how much traction there is on this. Could be a good deal for both teams. Chandler would slot into the W's starting lineup quite nicely.

And, if Drummond is still there, they can let McGee walk.

hahahaha TP.

Haha ditto

I guess golden state is giving up on andre iggy. Chandler is a decent addition if they can make it happen, doesnt put them anywhere near contention however.

Do the Nuggets have to include the #20 pick?

Mark Jackson, Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Wilson Chandler, David Lee and Andrew Bogut with Brandon Rush in the 6th man role is a pretty nice core.

If Golden State could somehow also offload Richard Jefferson in that deal, that'd be a coup.

Biedrins' contract is also pretty bad, but I think the W's need to keep him around, in case Bogut gets injured.

Don't forget Dor-El and Nate (although they need to resign Nate first).

If that lineup stays healthy, that's gonna be a solid team to mess with.

In other words the #7 pick in the 2012 draft might be traded for the #23 pick in the 2007 draft...a guy who played 8 games last year, had a PER of 9.08, and has just started the recovery process from season-ending hip surgery.

This should put that "one of the deepest drafts ever" talk to bed.

I'm willing to bet that if the Patriots offered Tom Brady for a first round pick, a few teams would be able to look past the fact that he was originally drafted in the sixth round. Where a player was drafted means nothing.

Not a great return for the #7 pick. Feels underwhelming. Decent return, I suppose.

A potentially nice move for Denver. I would like to see them turnaround that pick though and use it to either move up another slot or two, or, trade back and pickup additional assets. Not a great place in the draft (#7). Right where the talent level seems to drop off a bit.

I might like Wilson Chandler more than most but I think he's better than anyone you are going to get at #7.  I'm a fan of his.

They do still have a large TE from the Nene deal ($13 mil). So, they could conceivably offer the #7 to Atlanta for Josh Smith, for example.

that's a twist that would make sense for Denver and Atlanta.  Still think that's low return for the Gun Shot Wounds
