I want to stay put, take the best two players available, and take another talent in the 2nd.

TJones, PJones, and White all have 3-4-5 versatility. Getting any two of these, or any 1 plus Sullinger, would be great.

Drafting any of Jones, Jones, or White, plus Tony Wroten, would address all 5 positions.

The 2013 FA market should be deep. Getting the two best versatile players we can, and getting a sense for how they will develop, will make it easier to fit the next top FA signee into a quality roster.

Don't draft for the short-term. Draft for 2013-14 and beyond.

I know it's a lame answer, but I want whoever the Celtics want because I want to see a rookie on the flipping court for once.

Greg Stiemsma stands up, smiles and waves.   Then blocks your shot into the seats!

(Yeah, yeah, a 26 year old 'rookie'.  But he WAS technically a rookie!)

Dream scenario:

Take Jeff Taylor and John Jenkins with 21 and 22.

Move back up to the late first and draft Festus Ezeli.

Draft Robbie Hummell in the second.

Roll with a bench of all Vandy/Purdue guys.

:D

So many choices ....!!!

Whatever happens, I want at least one big man out of our 3 picks!

Dream:

Myers Leonard falls to us because of baseless rumors about a drug habit and a federal investigation into a kiddie **** ring.  No, I had nothing to do with starting that rumor ...

Realistic:

We snag any one of Moultrie/Nicholson/Melo as a big and either of Royce White / Quincy Miller with the other 1st round pick.

We then pick up Henry Sims in the 2nd round who turns out to be a real steal.

As of right now, I'm holding out hope for a Sullinger/Harkless/O'Quinn trio.

I would be very very happy with that, however I feel some team before us will fall in love with Harkless's potential and take him.

Actually I want couple from the lottery.  ;D but that an't happening...LOL

From ones we actually have a shot selecting in this order are my wants ... Fab Melo, R. White, Harkless, PJ3 or Fetus Ezelie /or Moultrie

I would think we'll be seeing "ONE" of the above for sure from one of the two picks.

If we were to get "TWO" of my wish list , well I'd be in PIG HEAVEN.

I wouldn't mind seeing DA , pulling off a trade to move up about 5-6 spots to get a shot at RIvers . But, he ALMOST has save one pick to draft at least ONE really TRUE BIG MAN CENTER or Danny might get tarred and feathered. Just don't want that trade to be Bradley. .... :-[

If DA was to trade ROndo in some huge deal, we would likely get RAY ALLEN to stay .  ???

IMO...we'll know if KG is comming back ...BY THE WAY or players DANNY drafts.

If he deals away Rondo to get a couple picks , then I think KG is done.  Danny is rebuilding.

As long as we do not take Festus or Fab. The two Failures at the Five. Or Festus and Fab the F*** Ups. We need someone who can create their own shot and score. Not Greg Stiemsma but who has to be paid for three years while they play nine minutes a night.

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
I want a bunch of players from this group to go in front of us Jenkins, Melo, Nicholson, Teague, Wroten, Miller. This could push good players like Zeller, Sullinger, Ross, T. Jones, PJ3, or Henson to us. If no one slips I want White and/or Nicholson/Miller.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

This is my first post but I have been following Celticsblog for years. I felt compelled to give my two cents.

Dream Scenario:

Sullinger and Will Barton

What happened to the love for Barton that was on here a few weeks ago? A combo of Rondo, Bradley, and Barton on the court at the same would be downright scary. Rumor has it that Barton had an excellent workout in Boston a few weeks ago and I would not be surprised if the Celtics take him.

If Sullinger didn't have the back problems, he would be a top 12 pick. Didn't Eddie Lacerte just win trainer of the year? He gives me confidence to want to pick a stud like Sullinger. (if it was the red sox training staff, then I would think differently)

Realistically:

Festus Ezeli and Evan Fournier

Festus would give the Celtics Solid Size and someone who seems to have the right attitude. After reading a lot of his interviews and watching his youtube clips, I think Doc would love this kid.

Evan Fournier would be a solid pick because we all know that Doc hates to play his rookies. Stashing a stud like Fournier overseas could provide great fortunes in the future.

Nightmare:

Fab Melo and Doron Lamb

I honestly do not think the Celtics will take Fab. I remember reading several weeks ago that he did not have a good work out here in Boston. I will honestly be shocked if the Celtics take him. If KG made BBD cry, then wow, I can only imagine what he would do with Fab. Never was impressed with a 7 footer who only averages less than 6 rebounds a game.

After watching a lot of Kentucky last season, never came away impressed with Lamb. Nothing stuck out to me that would warrant a first round pick. If I had to take someone off of the Kentucky team, then I would much rather take someone like Teague who can give Rondo some needed rest. Teague also has the potential to grow into a very talented point guard. You can never have enough talented point guards on an NBA roster.

TP for Will Barton. I've been advocating for him for a while now. He's basically a better, thinner Jeremy Lamb and yet somehow he's not a lottery pick ???.

I think my dream scenario is Royce White and Barton and then get Robert Sacre or Henry Sims in the second round

Who do I want?  Who do I WANT???  I am doing this by rankings based on what at a minimum will definitely occur, to what is completely unlikely but-you-never-know...

Tier 1 - They'll Be On the Board:

#21 - Fab Melo
#22 - Draymond Green

Tier 2 - Probably Will Be There When We Pick:

#21 - Moe Harkless
#22 - Andrew Nicholson

Tier 3 - Need a Break or Two And They're Ours:

#21 - Royce White
#22 - Jared Sullinger

Tier 4 - Wow, How Did He Slip This Far (And Is That a Good Thing?):

#21 - Perry Jones 3
#22 - Tyler Zeller

Tier 5 - I Fell Asleep And Had a Basketball Wet Dream:

#21 - Terrence Ross
#22 - Austin Rivers
