One thing that hasn't been discussed...do we have any upper hand in this draft because Doc knows (or at least should know) where Austin is getting picked.  Do you think they have shared any promise information with Doc, or not?

I doubt Doc and Danny know where Austin is getting picked, but one thing I found interesting in Danny's recent interview is that he said that Doc has had more input in this draft than in years past because he knows many of the players in this draft pretty well having watched a number of them grow up with Austin.

Nope. Got a feeling there are some dark days ahead for our C's. Celts losing game 6 vs Miami was the beginning of the end.

Get ready for the era of Lebron for the next 5-6 years.

A better question is which of our other 3 teams have a brighter future: Bruins, Sox or Patriots?

Honestly, at this point, the best thing for Ainge is to trade Pierce for a draft pick and start rebuilding around Rondo, Bradley, this year's draft picks, etc.

Sorry folks, window is closed. Having a hard time finding/seeing any reason for hope in the near future.

Thanks for the burst of sunshine, Sunshine.

Boston is aggressively working to move up into the late lottery, if not higher, league sources tell Y!. Celtics own No. 21 and 22 picks

Hmm. RT @vgoodwill: Not surprised hearing Boston is trying to get high into the lottery. MKG said Celtics wanted him badly at the combine

What are we offering? Has to be Bradley to actually get it done right?

Dannyis notorious for lowballing, he might be just offering up the two picks and JJJ....

danny also knows he needs someone to guard LBJ if boston wants to get out of the east..MKG is certainly the man for that

I think Danny is trying to get talent to pair Rondo with more than worrying about matching up.

I think all will be quiet on the Celtic front although I bet they do make atttempts behind the scenes that just don't pan out.
that's the safe bet :)
I think Danny is always trying to make deals, most we never hear about.

I think AB, JJ, & EM figure heavily in today's discussions.

Why are you automatically thinking everyone here is a bruins, red sox or pats fan?????

I am a Montreal Canadiens fan, a New Orleans Saints fan and a Atlanta Braves fan along with being a celtics fan. And yes I live in south Louisiana, we had no baseball so i grew up watching the braves on WTBS...could not catch any astros games even though they were closer geographically to me, thus me being a braves fan. The Jazz bailed early and the hornets did not get here until late. I had already been a celtics fan. Stop making assumptions. Thanks.

Yes, the Celts window has closed. For, what, the 4th year in a row? I guess they'll have to just trudge along through the dark days, just like they have since 2009.
