I feel like Rumors have been flying around fake and not fake, and even the real ones are fake! Whew! But seriously does anyone feel like something will happen tomorrow? I think one of the biggest things is that we move down. I cant see Danny waiting around till 21st and 22nd to make his choices. So just picking peopels minds before the draft cause I am really intrested to see what others think/ready for this off-season!

I think something will leak out before the draft, it might not involve both picks but it might. I could now see the Celtics trade both picks to move up and then use the Bobcats 2nd in 2013 and their 2nd rounder to move into the late 1st round to still get their two picks.

Houston has 3 picks in the 1st round. They will try and get either Howard or Smith. If they fail to get either one, then u might see the Celtics try and get one of those picks or players.
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Same here!  I just told my friend, I have the same feeling as when I was younger on Christmas Eve.  The anticipation is building!  Obviously, I could be wrong, but I have a feeling something unusual is going down tommorrow night.  Can't wait!

I envision the Celtics involved in a little trade here, but nothing big. To be involved in a big trade would mean trading away Rondo. I just dont see that happening, given the other names dangled out there as potentially on the block (Rondo for Josh Smith? Rondo for Iggy? dont see it).

I think the most likely move will be the rumored trade for Jamal Crawford. It would be awesome if we could pull something major off (J.Smith) but its hard to see how it happens.

I think all will be quiet on the Celtic front although I bet they do make atttempts behind the scenes that just don't pan out.

This.  I think there have been a lot of smoke screens by Danny but I predict we just take our two picks.

How things are shaking up, there will be two quality players there for us I believe.

If you consider getting two out of Perry Jones, Terrence Jones, Royce White, Fab Melo, Quincy Miller, Jeffrey Taylor, Arnett Moultrie, Jared Sullinger, Andrew Nicholson, Evan Fournier, or Moe Harkless to be big, then, yes, I think something big is happening tomorrow.

I was thinking that they'd just be making their picks tomorrow until that pick coming from OKC was announced.  I wouldn't be surprised if that motivates Danny to move 2 of our picks this year for a higher pick in an effort to get someone who's close to contributing this year with the thought he has another decent pick next year to use for rebuilding.

Danny will know by tomorrow afternoon whether or not KG is coming back.  The media won't know, but Danny and Doc will.

If KG comes back, then nothing big.  If KG retires, Danny may blow everything up.

A decision on Ray will have to wait until Danny sees what he can draft and/or trade for.  If he can bring in Jamal Crawford* or OJ Mayo, then Ray is gone.  Maybe Ray accepts a sign-and-trade to Chicago to help in a deal for Asik or Noah.

*Trading for Crawford will probably require the #22 pick and either Moore or JJJ, but not both players.  If Danny can get Crawford for one of those players and the #51 pick it will be an absolute steal.

I have a feeling Bass is gone, regardless.  Danny will re-sign Green and Stiemsma, he'll draft size (6'9" or taller, regardless of position), and he'll go after veteran bigs (Camby?).  Some team will overpay for Bass.

All I want is Jeff Taylor and Andrew Nicholson out of the first round and size size size out out of the second.  I don't care if they've reached their ceilings.  I want contributors.  Taylor will be a beast on defense for years, and can guard four positions.

For me, I think it's not so much that I think something big is going to happen, but that I want something big to happen. When I stop and think about it, though, I don't know if I want something big to happen. At the trade deadline I was feeling like I wanted something earth-shaking to take place, but that's not what happened—and we almost made it to the Finals. I think I'm learning to be patient with these things.

At the very least, Boston gets two solid picks in tomorrow's draft, and as wjsy's flow chart (linked on the front page) makes clear, Danny is quite capable of turning good draft picks into great trades.

I realize that at some point we really will have to move on from the Big 3, but maybe that time's not yet here, not quite. I'm convinced that KG has at least one more solid year in him, and that a healthy Pierce is still one of the best SFs in the game. Even if Ray doesn't return, combine those other two with Rondo, Bradley, Stiemsma, a re-signed Green and/or a re-signed Bass or some other free-agent or trade acquisition, a couple of solid rooks and the possible emergence of 3J, and I think we're once again knocking on the Finals door.
