His max vertical is 31" and he only benched 9 times.

That is not athletic by any stretch.

As a comparison to Fab Melo, PJ3 has 38.5" vertical and benched 11 times... smh

Dwight Howard got I believe 7 benches.  So I guess both Perry and Melo will be better than him - everybody wins!

Anyway, nobody is a bust until they play some games or drop dead.  Wait and see on Melo, and Sullinger too.

Fab is Acie Earl

This is a common misconception.  Actually, Acie Earl is Acie Earl.  Fab Melo turns out to be a totally different human being, from a different country even.  And way younger - I'd be the first guy criticizing Danny for drafting a 42-year-old in the 1st round.  I'm glad I could clear this up.  Salud!

Melo has the potential to be a double double player for a decade.

But a better potential to be Ryan Hollins 2.0

I don't love the Fab pick.

But on the bright side, might this be Danny trying to accommodate KG's desire to play the 4? I can live with Fab if it helps KG make the right decision. ;)
