I don't know about the rest of you but I've been waiting (Im)patiently for the draft since the C's season ended. After reading so many opinions on what the C's will do in the draft, I thought it might be fun for people to put their TP's where their mouths are so I'm proposing a friendly contest for TP's.
Here's the basic idea--accurately predict what the C's do on draft night. this includes picks and any trades you think will occur by that night. all 3 picks are in play.
The scoring goes like this:
- 1 TP for each player you pick correctly in the first round. 2 TPs for getting the second round right
- 1 more TP for each one picked in the right draft slot.
- 1 TP for guessing no trade will happen and none happens
- 2 TP's if you predict a trade and one happens
- 1 TP for each draft pick you correctly select as being included in the trade
- 2 TP for correctly selecting the team the C's trade with and the number of the pick -- 1 each for the tam and 1 for the pick. if you guess multiple picks coming back to the C's and that happens, it's a TP per pick. If you guess it's a future pick, a TP for that too-->year not necessary
- If you predict a trade and guess the player(s) the C's pick with those pick(s), TP's per player
- if you think there's a player involved from the C' going elsewhere, a TP for getting that right and another TP for getting the right player in the trade.
- If you think there'a a player (or players) coming back to the C's in exchange for picks, a TP for getting that right and a TP per player guessed right
Open to suggestions for improving this and will field any questions. All entries need to be in by 11:59PM on 6/27 so I have the day of the draft to compile the entries.
