Sam and KC were a great backcourt tandem in the 1960's.

How about a 2010's version with a frontcourt tandem of Perry and Terrence?

NBAdraft.net's most recent mock: http://nbadraft.net/2012mock_draft

has us taking exactly those two.

While I doubt that either of these players falls to us, both have huge upside and athleticism as well as big bust potential. I would still do it.

NBAdraft.net does a great job evaluating players. I hope that they do as good a job at projecting (our) picks in their mock.

Two underachievers in college, but with great potential....would like Harkless or Nicholson and one Jones

That would be good but I think the guy who works at nbadraft.net is a Celtics fan because there is no way those two slip.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Our version of the Jones boys in the 2010's are Rondo and Avery.

+1..Saw the OJs (original Joneses) a lot in person. KC/Satch/Russell bigtime defenders. Sam yelling "too late" with glee with his shooting hand extended, seemingly always especially enjoyable over a '6er. Sam was an amazingly clutch scorer....BUT...

I really believe that this 2010's RR/AB duo could be even better.

Yep, I would love it. Terrance seems like a safe pick and is sure to be a rotation player. Perry has too much potential to pass up. However, that would seem to make Jeff Green kind of redundant because that will give us 3 SF/PF on the team. I think I would really like it still. You can't have too much depth.

If we go with the best player available philosophy which accrues assets to turn into bigger assets,Jeff Green or no Green, if these guys are there, we gotta take them.
