hi everyone just an idea, but ive heard about kyle lowry and dalembert wanting out of houston. neither gets on with mchale.

ive also heard at the end of next year that if millsap doesnt get a big enough offer from utah he's gone.

also keep in mind that both steve nash and jason kidd are free agents right now... because this trade involves moving our biggest piece:

1.
boston sends rondo and jajuan johnson to houston

for

kyle lowry and sam dalembert

2.
boston sends bass and jeff green in a sign and trade to utah

for

paul millsap and something that matches salary - say raja bell

3.
boston sends:

* paul millsap
* kyle lowry
* samuel dalembert

and say stiemsma to make the salaries match

to orlando for dwight.

then we sign nash or kidd.

what do you guys think?

btw i dont actually like dwight. i think hes a cry baby, but doesnt mean danny isnt thinking.

huh..

If anything, just try trading Rondo and both picks for Dwight and sign Deron Williams with our cap space.  Fin.

if you were orlando would u rather have rondo and 2 1sts

or

lowry
millsap
dalembert (who expires to save cap space next year)
stiemsma

and say danny throws in a 1st - say whoever we draft with the 22nd pick.

????

personally i would turn down dwight for rondo and two firsts if im orlando. thats why i thought up this trade.

additionally the rockets trade would involve us giving houston our 21st pick for their 16th pick...

so next year you're potentially looking at:

nash, bradley, pierce, KG/sullinger (who hopefully falls to us at 16), dwight.

and just by the by i think deron williams had a horrible season. he's fallen off.

and before anyone says so, i realise it wouldnt all happen draft night. the sign and trades would happen after it - in summer around july 30th and the dwight to boston deal would be done on july 30th or so - same day KG came to boston... because u have to hold onto players you trade for for at least one month: june 28 - july 28 in the case of lowry and dalembert. and then one swift sign and trade move on july 28-30 where orlando gets the farm.

Rondo is a much better player than any of those that you have going to Orlando.  The Magic can build around Rondo.  The Magic cannot build around Lowry and Millsap unless they want to spend the next five years in that fringe-playoff graveyard.  That simple fact alone would probably make a package of Rondo+picks the more tempting of the two.

Also, Deron Williams is still a top PG.  He just didn't want to play for a team that was going nowhere in New Jersey.  So question his character if you want (that concerns me as well) but he can still play at an elite level.

  I don't think that Orlando would want to trade a player on Howard's level for a group of players that might not get to a single all-star game in their careers.

you make a good point, but i just wonder how many good offers there will be for dwight. they arent getting lebron for him. perhaps the knicks could give up lin (once he resigns a 5 mill contract) and chandler for dwight, but i dont really see too many great deals around...

and if they want bynum for dwight theyre just stupid. you also got to factor in the money side of things: ryan anderson is gonna get a 10 mill a year deal from some team, and orlando have i think one of the highest caps in the league at the moment at 85 mill, and look to be stocked up for years to come, expiring contracts are tempting:

I don't like trading Rondo, nor do I like Dwight anymore but (if you're hypothesizing that)...

Why not just Millsap and Rondo to the Magic? And then we give the Jazz something. Why water down Rondo to Lowry ???

TP
Linsanity started with a game against the Nets
Next time they played, DWill went off for 40 and showed up against Lin
Can't stop, Rondo!
