I think that he will be a nice cheap pickup.
Notable games with Toronto;
Quote
Against the Heat: 16 min 2 pts 11 Reb
Against ATL: 20 min 9 Pts 6 Reb
Against Wizards: 18 min 5 Pts 8 Reb
Against Chicago: 29 min 12 Pts 13 Reb
Against Memphis: 30 min 10 Pts 13 Reb
Against Dallas: 20 min 7 Pts 8 Reb
Against Celtics (Us  ;D ): 37 min 13 Pts 13 Reb
Against Bucks: 33 min 10 Pts 20 Reb
To make it short he will be a nice rebounding pickup :)

If we can't get Reggie Evans, Dorsey has a 21.7 career rebounding rate according to ESPN Boston. For cheap money that's pretty good.

Hard worker and good rebounder but he is a tweener.   Will he be able to D up true bigs?

Howard clone but hes only 6 8...and couldnt cut it in toronto...no thanks.

3 inches difference means so much :*(

Would you rather have a 6 8 big baby, leon powe, or joe dorsey, or a 7 foot howard, steasmah, or even hollins...

I go with the legit 7 footer everytime. even 2 inches makes a big difference in the nba.

I know. It's just unfortunate sometimes that a player is just too short and you have Hasheem Thabeet who'll always get hired.

And too bad Bradley also has that :*(

Dorsey would be a nice bench pickup. Definitely a problem if he is our starter though.

I wouldnt mind adding Kenyon Martin for the bench if he would come cheap. He can still give 15-20 2nd unit minutes as a big that we can use next to rookie/young big X.

I think Marcus Camby is still out there as well.

At the PF position, yes.

At the C position, no.
